This week, we are honored to host @cornellilr, who is visiting @CityBuildSF to learn best practices for creating a successful pre-apprenticeship program. Their research will help other cities and groups across the country develop their own construction training programs.

Happy #NationalApprenticeshipWeek! Apprenticeships help us deliver long-lasting careers and a more skilled, diverse, union workforce. San Francisco has a long history of advancing apprenticeships. In 16 years, over 1,800 construction apprentices have graduated from @CityBuildSF.

As we work to hire more operators, CityDrive program participants like Jamonn have been working hard in their training to become @SFMTA_Muni and union bus drivers. CityDrive provides skills to San Franciscans that lead to long-lasting careers in the transportation industry.
