an extra 2500 acres of pointless PV? @edmilliband01 needs to learn that PV is not the answer - we need farmland to produce food rather than a tiny fraction of the claimed PV capacity #bbcqt
@stephen55041360@soniasodha Are you saying all socialist budgets are irresponsibly stupid? That is the only measure on which it can be claimed to be a good socialist budget. It can only have negative outcomes.
Anyone who thinks a rush to Net Zero is a problem doesn't understand the potential - we just need to back the real savings rather than spend money unwisely. Done properly ESG and Net Zero will cut costs. #bbcqt
@DelBoy80s What rubbish is this?!! It's nothing to do with changing the number - SAD is a result of daylight hours reducing. The mean in GMT is about natural variation in local noon - this time of year we get up earlier every day.
fingerprinting biometrics should speed up border controls. Last time in China the scanner took 2 seconds to say 'we've seen you before - carry on' passport was then stamped without the need to do more than confirm it was my photo #bbcbreakfast
@S2NGH@MasterChefUK but it wasn't food... I thought MasterChef was supposed to be about the presentation of food - leaving out the egg meant leaving out the nutrition.
a crisp sommelier?! #saturdaykitchen A large truck can deliver 26 tonnes of potatoes...but only 1.3 tonnes of crisps along with vast amounts of single use packaging. We must increase the nutritional density of food deliveries.
@OliReading I would really love to hear how anyone thinks they could defend such a patent - so many ways to break it or prove there is something very similar already out there.
There is no need for Net Zero to cost ยฃ5bn - spending that would mean doing it the wrong way! Cash and carbon are 2 sides of same coin. Done properly heading for Net Zero increases margin by cutting costs some of us can show are unnecessary. #bbcquestiontime
@CricketSurfing@BBCPolitics you would do well to listen to what Arnold said - he showed how doing good for the environment is not only essential but can be profitable
