City of Le Roy
The Illinois Department of Public Health is reporting that as of this date, the number of positive novel COVID-19 cases within the City of Le Roy has risen to double digits (12 currently).
Please note that while the doors will be closed, we remain committed to serving the community. City hall will keep the usual business hours (M-F, 7a-4p) and staff will be available to residents via telephone call, email, or drive thru, which will be manned daily.

Our COVID count is now nine (9); one new case was added yesterday, and another added today.

LEROYANS: This past Friday, the governor’s office and the Illinois Department of Health issued new emergency enforcement rules on face coverings and gatherings.
Therefore, the local ordinance will be tabled at the Monday city council meeting, and we will await the decision by JCAR. Your comments, as expressed to both council members and me, will be held in abeyance until the state decision comes.

Thunderstorms are expected into this evening. Widespread damaging wind gusts are possible with the storms. Heavy rainfall could pose a flash flood threat, especially in urban areas. Hail is also possible in the strongest storms.
