Wherever we go, we make a statement.
"Nigerian society is no longer celebrating academic excellence. It’s not even Yahøø culture anymore; now we have a 'Peller culture.' This 'Olodo' uprising we are witnessing is terrible. It feels like we are trying so hard to accommodate ignorance so people won’t feel bad, and now they seem to be the majority. The massive attack on Nigeria’s educational system is alarming, aside from kidnappings and Bøko Haram attacks."

The UK needs a serious overhaul of its salary structure. ‘Senior’ roles are paying basic wages and even ‘basic’ wages aren’t enough to live on. Nothing makes sense
The more you look at the Konsa tackle on Adu, the more you realise England got a huge slice of luck from a terrible refereeing decision. Konsa's tackle is comically crude. Pen and straight red https://t.co/mYuwJuIpPU
Before every World Cup, there is a conversation around why African teams sort of “underperform” and what not… all well and good but how do expect a team to perform when the calls are as bias as they were last night.
Konsa tripped Adu (that’s a penalty) and that Pickford tackle on Adu again was a red. He just lunged into the striker. No attempt to clear the ball whatsoever. All comfortably overlooked - VAR didn’t even bother to check. Not to talk of all the 50-50 challenges that were called as fouls for England.
Maybe the conversation should be about the poor officiating some teams have to endure at the expense of others.
I’m not a fan of whataboutery but if any of those incidents had been on an English player, they’d have been given. Terrible.
🚨🗣️ Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz on the potential penalty incident:
"I'm not sure if the VAR is still working at the World Cup. I have some doubts about that. There was another penalty that should have been awarded to Ghana. A clear penalty."
"It seems the video referee went off for a coffee break, which is perfectly normal. I just hope he takes me along for coffee every now and then."
"But it was a clear penalty, completely clear, and a red card should have been shown too. You who watched the match, do you have any doubts? Or am I the only one who was on the pitch and saw what happened?"
"I apologize for my sarcasm, but if I said this seriously, I'd get sanctioned. So I hope you understand that I'm joking."
My take on England’s captain, Harry Kane referring to Ghana as “this type of nations.” earlier today.
It’s a show of BIGOTRY - He has no right to segregate and to speak in that condescending tone about any nation that has earned her place to be there.
