I am not where I want to be but I am willing and determined to do the work needed to get there.
I am successful, recent setbacks do not negate my previous successes.
All of these late nights and early mornings are going to pay off some day.

In 1992, Governor Michael Otedola of Lagos signed a controversial PR contract with a communications consultancy firm reported to be worth ₦400 million.
The governor's spokesperson, Sina Ogunbambo, said the objective of the campaign was not to launder the image of the state government as rumoured, but to make people "sympathise with the government so as to promote loyalty and understanding."
According to Citizen's report, the state's House of Assembly denied knowledge of the ₦400 million deal and ordered a legislative investigation.
A lawmaker, Niyi Fabikun, noted that the contract's value represented 10% of the state's revenue allocation.
Another lawmaker, F.O.A. Arebi, said it was insensitive at a time when thousands of school pupils could not sit for the last promotions exam due to the state's financial constraints.
But the governor's spokesperson dismissed the controversy. "We will continue to use reputable external communications consultants," he said.
I have paid attention to this debate, and I have seen enough from both sides to take a position.
Let me first state how things are intended.
It was that a man goes to hustle and a woman takes care of the home.
The man then carries all the financial burden, and the woman supports him by taking care of the home front.
As such, investments were made in the man to put him in a position where he can provide, and the woman was prepared to be a housewife.
Somewhere along the line, things changed. Movements to empower women started to ensure that the woman could also work.
These did two things:
1. Increased the workforce
2. Reduced opportunity for men.
If you have done any economics, then you know that when supply exceeds demand, prices fall. And since it is a zero sum game, men's income dropped, and women's income rose.
Opportunities also started springing up to empower the upcoming women and leaving a lot of upcoming men behind, which invariably means that at a point more women are getting educated than men and more women are earning more than men.
So now, men on the average cannot take care of home exclusively on their income, but men are still expected to carry the responsibilities that came with the times when they made more.
Something has to give.
Everything being equal, the average woman would rather not work and stay home with her kids.
Everything being equal, the average man would rather be the sole provider.
As a man, if you can work and provide for your family without your wife's income, I think you should do that.
However, just know one thing. Women stay where they have invested. That's why you hear them say, "She will not labour for another woman to come and reap."
So make sure your woman is investing in you as much as you are investing in her. Otherwise, she will one day leave you.
And it has nothing to do with love. Love is a feeling and feelings change.
Everytime you people tweet about relationship, it is centred around what to collect. You no get papa? The whole point of relationship is to do things together and create memories. If you're looking for investment, go and look for investors.
You are looking for investment that does not benefit him. Which investments are you making in his life that does not benefit you?
