@jjmann17 Teach and encourage. Point to Jesus and how to discover truth. Pastors who are actual shepherds (and know their people) instinctively know what their flock needs.

@SHoddeMiller So many reasons. Unequal pay, lack of structure, overworked and underpaid, disrespect/hierarchy/patriarchy, lack of shepherding and support for staff, gossip culture. Emphasis on numbers/salvations but lack of discipleship leads to messy situations and high turnover. Jer. 6:14
