@atSimplethings the uk song made no sense imo. Wasn't funny enough to be a funny song, Wasn't serious enough to be a serious song. lyrics didn't make much sense either and the and the vocal talent wasn't there when compared to other acts not a 0 but not a winner by far...

@jsmyth91 I'm not sure thats true, steelers turned down the conti the last time we got offered it. More comps are a plus but really the conti isn't a great trophy and it takes away from the focus on the leauge. chl is much better just historically our leauge doesn't perform well..

I will always agree the reffing in this leauge is a joke though.

@1991Steelers @officialEIHL I said the same thing when we held the final over Guildford it should be a neutral venue. as nottingham are also in the final regardless of dressingrooms and benches they know there ice best and have an advantage Really shows seeding means nothing imo

@27evans_ @steelthepuck Not necessarily as 5+ game would've given steelers the extra advantage but you're correct in that whats done is done. unfortunately missed calls on all sides impact results and momentum but reffing in this leauge is often an issue

@PaulBraisby but regardles what happened happened i think the one thing the whole eihl fan base can agree on is the reffing in this leauge really needs looking at.

@PaulBraisby problem is is reffs miss calls on both sides all game and nothings done. Had this incident been properly called at the time we'd have had an advantage which arguably in that close of a game could've effected the outcome especially as he was on the ice on the final goal.
