Claire works as a midwife infant specialist in @TipperaryUH providing exemplary supporting to breastfeeding families.
Claire undertook a Higher Diploma in Midwifery in UL & UMHL (2006-2008).
Breastfeeding provides optimal opportunities for eye contact, connection, feeling safe and loved and emotional regulation. It also promotes optimal brain development, all of which are supportive of an infants’ mental health. #IMHW2024#SpeakUpForBabies#BreastfeedingPromotion
Great message from @ALCIreland this Infant Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from 10th – 16th June 2024 and this year’s theme is ‘Speak up for Babies’. Speaking up for breastfeeding is an important way to speak up for babies.
