1. Cue COVID tests: at home PCR level testing that accounts for new variants. if you test positive, you can get treatments like Paxlovid through their app.
Altogether, it is suggested that BA.2.86 is one of the most highly immune evasive variants ever and should have the potential to be considered as a variant of interest. 8/

@jasmith_yorku @MaryFernando_ I proposed this with all the reasons and benefits to our faculty union in the middle of 2020. They said it was not a union/contract issue.
