@PInsider_ also the vocoder on some songs got to be a bit much, like zombieboy. it changed the tone of song so drastically: “we about to be up all night” sounds haunting rather than ecstatic. i get what she was going for, but it wasn’t appealing to me. i did enjoy this on dwas, however.

@PInsider_ I wasn’t a fan of the overall stripped-back ballad style arrangements. part of the appeal of mayhem for me was the dance production, and removing that in most aspects makes requiem less enjoyable. i did really enjoy disease, abracadabra, killah, and dwas. i like those new takes

@asallen A basic pick, but i love the trash bin sound on macos. It makes deleting files feel much more tactile, and maybe even real? The sound of crumpling paper is relatable, lots of people ball up papers out of frustration. Adding this emotional context gives the action more weight.
