Remembering Kaylee Hottle and her beloved MonsterVerse character, Jia. 💔

Jia became one of the most extraordinary human characters in the franchise, forming a rare connection with three of its greatest Titans: Kong, Mothra, and Godzilla.

Her bond with Kong was deeply personal. Through American Sign Language, Jia gave him a way to communicate and helped audiences see the gentle, protective heart behind the mighty Titan.

As a surviving member of the Iwi tribe, she also played a vital role in awakening Mothra, who recognized and protected her. Jia later helped calm Godzilla and bring him together with Kong against a greater threat.

Kaylee brought warmth, courage, and meaningful Deaf representation to the MonsterVerse, making Jia far more than a supporting character. She became the human heart connecting its most powerful creatures.

Rest in peace, Kaylee Hottle. 🕊️
