This evening, ViktoriyaOCullane was elected Ceann Comhairle by Dáil Éireann. 🎉

The entire family congratulates her on her election and hopes for the best as she assumes her new position in the Oireachtas.

In preparation for the upcoming presidential inauguration, an inspection of 1 MIC, 2 MPC and the newly formed 2 Brigade Artillery Regiment (2 BAR) was held at the Curragh Camp.

Soldiers were inspected by the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General TadhgOCullane.

This evening, an Tánaiste had the pleasure of hosting
JeremyOMeadhra, the Chief of Clan O'Meadhra at Gloster House.

Throughout their meeting, they discussed affairs relating to both clans, and made plans for future events.

An Tánaiste is responsible for deputizing in the absence of the Chief, and acts as his primary advisor and expected successor.

The previous Tánaiste of the clan was SeosamhOCullane, the current President of Ireland and Chief of the O'Cullane Name.

Earlier today, Chief SeosamhOCullane confirmed the appointment of CaoimhinOCullane as Tánaiste of Clan O'Cullane.

CaoimhinOCullane is currently Commissioner of an Garda Síochána, and has previously served as Taoiseach and First Minister in the north.

The Chief passed away this morning at Gloster House.
