I’m humble, determined & take pride in standing up for what I believe in. An advocate for all children & youth assaulted, abused & neglected by DSS/CPS.
@reddyforgov Thank you both! My heart is heavy this morning, but there is a war against children & families here in SC so I must keep on keeping on. I just don’t know where else to go to. At what price are we willing to pay for justice that is supposed to be free?
For all my wonderful, dedicated supporters, it was the honor of our lives for Renee and me to meet you, learn about you, and get your support.
It was an incredible achievement that on the morning of the Trump endorsement, we were tied for the lead. However, as you know, it is difficult to run against a Trump endorsement when almost one quarter of the electorate was undecided.
Renee and I wanted to give the voters a choice for a different path devoid of special interests and money. We wanted to do it with ideas and appeal to the good in people, and that’s what we tried to do with a campaign that did not get in the gutter. Hopefully, it will inspire others to do the same, and that would be a win for me.
The establishment system is powerful, and the people chose otherwise. In a constitutional republic, I accept that choice. I have never been in politics before this and do not intend to be in the public forum after this.
My only request is that we hold the politicians to a higher standard than the gutter politics of appealing to the underbelly of humanity. As believers, we believe we are all children of God, made in His image, and God wants us to be brothers and sisters and find the common good, not divide and hate to gain power and money.
Look for this characteristic more than anything else when you vote in the future to keep the dream of our founders alive: one united nation under God.
I do not know what our next steps are, but Renee and I will continue to find a way to help people, especially children, through our charitable foundation. If there is one thing I learned, it is that people and children are suffering with this corrupt family court system, and we are going to explore how we can help people caught in this system in our capacity as private citizens.
I have never had social media accounts before DOGESC, and in the next few weeks I will go back to not having social media accounts. However, once we set up something for family court, we will post a contact email on Renee’s Facebook in the next couple of months to try to work with you on helping with family court. Stay tuned.
Finally, thank you so much for being on this journey with us. I sincerely believe God has a plan for us, and I look forward to what His plan is for my family, as long as it is not in politics!!
Lots of love,
Renee and Rom Reddy and family
We are just days away from an opportunity to bring real change to South Carolina. Over 177,000 voters have already made their voices heard.
Make sure you get yourself to the polls this week for early voting or next Tuesday for primary voting day, AND take your friends, your neighbors, and your family with you. We have to overwhelm the system to get the change South Carolinians desperately need and deserve.
Can everyone follow the link and “vote for me” in SC for Charlotte 🐾🐾? Thanks
Vote for my entry Charlotte North Carolina Collins at https://t.co/xJVohOlGsF
@TheWillFolks I don’t expect you to acknowledge this, just like all the other times I contacted you with information. Stop being childish, and maybe report on children harmed in SCDSS custody? Now, that’s a great idea, fr give Mr. Reddy a break already! For some reason you won’t.
We're surging towards first because people are waking up.
They've had enough of being in the bottom ten nationally in roads, education and median family income. They're ready for something different.
The Post and Courier editorial linked below re-emphasizes what I have been saying for months. South Carolina ranks 40/50 in campaign donor transparency, creating a dangerous system where all of us citizens cast a vote for someone not knowing who bought and paid for them. This leads to a cycle of corruption where these mysterious donors need to be paid back by the politicians that elected them.
Ask yourself this question - in the last 10 years that most of my opponents have been in office, has anything changed for the better in your life? The data says no. Education, roads, median family income, violent crime and soaring insurance premiums all rank near the bottom nationally. This is exactly where they were ten years ago. However, state spending has doubled, local spending has doubled, and a complex web of taxes that include income tax, property tax, sales tax, gas tax, etc have collectively skyrocketed.
Who has benefited? The major donors who have sweet office lease deals, business deals, seats on various boards, etc. Also benefiting are the growth of unelected government bureaucrats who rule our lives. Some of the spending borders on negligence. Roads spending has increased in the last decade from $1.3 billion to 3 plus billion, higher education from $700 million to $1.8 billion, the board that oversees higher education has a $100 million budget, Parks and Rec has gone from $48 million to $220 million, Social services from $120 million to $333 million etc.
In the private sector, if you're spending balloons and your results don't change, leadership is fired. Here, they want a promotion and are doubling down on secret PAC funding.
So far in the gubernatorial race, $6,875,000 in secret PAC money has come in for all the candidates. They range from the folks who got sweet donor-deals under McMaster and now support Pam, to the anti-Trump Rand Paul PAC supporting Nancy, to the national Freedom caucus PAC for Ralph, to trial lawyer money. A collection of secretive dark money interests vying to get their person in office.
We still have a month to go during which these numbers will be further run up. And we wonder why the donors set the agenda, and the citizen gets nothing but promises, usually the same promises. I would be lying to say I did not expect this when I entered the race vowing to not take money, but the magnitude of it still shocks me.
As Nelson Mandela said, "I am the captain of my ship". We are all the captain of our ship. Let us do what our founders did and fight to reclaim this state. I promise it can be done if we have the courage to fight. The ones who vote in the primaries often are the ones who benefit from the system or the ones the elites and donors get to the polls to preserve their agenda. To offset this, we as citizens must overwhelm this corrupt cabal. It is not enough to go vote. You must take 5 or 6 people with you to vote and overwhelm the monied vote.
I believe this is a once in a generational opportunity to put someone in office not beholden to the money and special interests and keep the office from being bought. I love the counter argument they make that a rich guy is trying to buy the office. Ask yourself, as a successful CEO and entrepreneur with no remaining business interests and a lifetime record of operating my businesses with integrity, what would I be buying and why would I be stupid enough to spend my own money? They are trying to obscure the fact that for once the office of the chief executive will be kept from being bought by secret donors and special interests as has been the case for many years and the reason why we Citizens never see any results.
We have a chance to say a big NO MORE to this June 9th.

When millions flood into campaigns, voters often have no idea who is really funding the ads, influencing the candidates, or expecting something in return.
South Carolina families are being crushed by a broken Family Court system.
Parents feel trapped between DSS, guardian ad litems, attorneys, and endless fees, all while being told it’s “for the child.”
People deserve transparency, accountability, and a system that protects families instead of exploiting them.
@reddyforgov There’s absolutely nothing good about SCDSS, and it’s far deeper on the inside. I’ve interacted with enough of them, and I watched my family be destroyed. You don’t come back from that whole. Once changed never the same.
Just one more week until the revolution comes to Hilton Head Island! Join us next Saturday at the HHI Beach & Tennis Resort for an afternoon of conversation, learning about Rom’s plans for South Carolina, and opportunities to get connected.
