So he admits the reason shooting is like this with “playrate variation” aka speed ups/slow downs because he doesn’t want the “better players to knock down every fucking shot. So to lower the skill gap and make them closer to a casual level. All this because the better players wouldn’t miss.

Mfs gotta understand that the PG isn’t a magician. A play being made is dependent upon multiple players being in the proper spots at the right time. Whether that be spacing the floor spotting up or a timely cut/relocation, slipping or popping on time off the pick - the blame isnt always be on the PG. Sometime off ball mfs ain’t doing what they need to be doing. #NBA2K24
