Back compat, remakes, and remasters are great and all... but NOTHING beats putting a physical game into original hardware and sitting on the floor in front of the TV because the controller cord is too short. #PS1#FF7#RetroGamer
Wemby says Revenge of the Sith is his favorite Star Wars movie of all time:
โWhen I say I like Star Wars, I donโt count the last three movies. My favorite is Revenge of the Sith, my second favorite would have to be Attack of the Clones, and then Iโd say The Empire Strikes Back.โ

These kinds of comments are not helpful. I've seen maybe one or two trolls call Laufey ugly, but I've seen close to a hundred people make comments like this. Why? It just makes a small minority of trolls seem bigger and more important than they are. Who does that help?
Once again...is it too late to recast Sophie Turner? ๐
I LOVE Sophie Turner, by the way. I'm a big fan. She's a good actress.
She is NOT Lara Croft.
I've been a God of War fan since the original on PS2. Not once have I ever thought to myself "I'm playing this because I want to feel like the absolute pinnacle of a man." What a corny take.
New god of war looks lame. People play GOW because they wanna feel like the absolute pinnacle of a man, itโs pretty much male ego personified in a game.
When you switch it to a female lead you lose much of that which made it appealing to its core fan base
I definitely have a bias TOWARDS female characters in games. I was legit bummed to see Control Resonant go with Dylan as the protagonist instead of Jesse again. ๐
@bearmccreary Your Sons of Sparta soundtrack is severely underrated. Was it intentional to make the music go between sounding orchestral and sounding almost NES-like or am I reading into it?
Alanah Pearce worked on writing God of War: Laufey for four years at Sony Santa Monica Studio๐
โSo hereโs the God of War game I spent four years writing.โ
@50PlusGamer1970 Also, their hyper expensive first party games are not actually what their success is based on. They make modest net profits for the quarters that they release in compared to where Sony makes most of their money. Reigning im the budgets would increase ROI. I made it make sense.
Here's my last post on the State of Play:
It good, but not great. There were lots of cool games shown, but the show was way too "update" focused rather than "reveal" focused. Even as a PlayStation fan, I'm feeling the first party formula getting stale. It's time to move on.
@50PlusGamer1970 I might be online too much, fair enough. But then how come I rated the last State of Play an 11 out of 10? There was just something about the combinstion of games, way they were presented, and lack of surprises that just left me feeling like it was good, but not great.
