After 16 years our son @jacob_laduca played his last baseball game. So much pride and joy in seeing him compete on every pitch and play the game the right way. Appreciate support of coaches, teammates and parents notably @JustinSantonoci and @DubJayBaseball. Been quite the ride!

W&J senior SS Jacob LaDuca wll make his 158th appearance in a Presidents' uniform today at Mount Union.
LaDuca, the two-time PAC Tournament Most Outstanding Player, ranks among the Top 75 active NCAA Division III players in three different statistical categories:
Career Sacrifice Flies (14) -- 29th among active NCAA DIII players
Career Runs Scored (158) -- 41st
Career Hits (199) -- 68th in NCAA Division III and 233rd among all active NCAA players (D1, D2, D3)
Only five W&J baseball players in history have reached the 200 career hit mark.

Brian Feldman was a triple shy of the cycle, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, a home run, base hit and three RBIs. Jacob LaDuca went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a walk. Josh Dezenzo also launched his sixth homer of the season!
Erik Streussnig pitched 6.0 innings giving up one run and adding a strikeout with his fifth win of the season, now 5-0 on the year!

Jacob LaDuca and Knox Meier each went 2-for-3 on the day with a double each. Drew Garth and Luke Alvarez also batted doubles on the night!

THE 'DENTS ARE ROLLING 🔥
Jacob LaDuca led the Presidents offensively, going 4-for-4 with a first pitch home run in the top of the first and two doubles. LaDuca was a triple shy of batting for the cycle. Paddy Hernjak remained hot at the plate with two hits on the day!
Justin Giarrusso got the start and fanned eight in 3.2 innings of work. Nate Hess picked up the win in relief while Brendan Cruz was awarded the save!
