According to the CSO 33% of the 17% of Irish people suffering from deprivation (unable to afford basics) are employed, up from 26% in 2021. That’s 108k more workers unable to afford the basics in 1 year - 180k-288k - An increase of 60%. More working poor than ever.
🏠📈Rents were an average of 14.1% higher in the third quarter of this year than the same period in 2021.
Just 1,087 homes were available to rent in the country on November 1st, roughly quarter the average level of availability 2015-2019.
