paediatric reg with an interest in med Ed and global health - any excuse for a new culture and new experiences! Very amateur baker/cook/swing dancer/sewer
@dean4watford This article says that @WatfordMayor had already started discussions, and the Royal Mail had already started solutions... what was your role here as MP @dean4watford?
@dean4watford You have no idea about the state of the NHS. It is hemorrhaging staff and trying to cope with falling down buildings and outdated IT. You cut NI, give a fraction of the funds the NHS has lost from rising costs and try to spin it as a positive? This is not a good news story.
I wonder if @LNWRailway ever talks to the front line staff? Shout out to the conductor on 715 from @watford_jun to @NetworkRailEUS who recognised how outrageous it is that there is no redundancy in commuter services, and how subpar the service is.
Disappointed again by @North_Iondon- after a few weeks of disrupted services due to poor planning of the roll out of new rolling stock, I'm still having to miss 2 trains due to a faulty train resulting in even more overcrowded commuter trains. Please plan with more flex room!
Curious how much redundancy @LONDONNORTHWES4 runs as one of the busiest commuter trains stopping at Watford Junction is half its normal length... again..
@GregHands It wasn’t less than no money, which is where the Tory’s have left us … maybe first past the post is a bad idea and both major parties should just stop
Wondering when a trust induction will actually be relevant for me as a paediatric doctor showing that hospitals are taking the care of children and young people seriously. @GSTTnhs@rcpch_trainees
The rolling stock running between @NetworkRailEUS and Tring is a health hazard in this weather @LONDONNORTHWES4 please upgrade to something that has at least rudimentary air con
Supervising our future drs is a privilege. I was lucky to look into the best way of reaching out to families who have concerns about affording food, housing and keeping their jobs and signposting to LA services with a couple of great medical students! #RCPCH2023@imperialcollege
Cheeky lunch break with a magic show highlighting how skills outside of medicine can teach important transferable skills. Never loose the inner child! #RCPCH23#Magic
Never heard of ‘radical kindness’ before today but I love it as a concept and am fully on board with having more of it within healthcare systems. #Quality2023@BobKlaber#randomactsofkindness
Such an amazing session highlighting the importance of high quality safety netting, clearly more education is needed from early on! @QualityForum @RCPCHtweets@kikupukk
‘Learning and improvement are life long endeavours’ a solid start to #quality2023 conference and amazing to have the second speaker being a patient advocate. Looking forward to all the learning! @QualityForum
@Observer_Owl Yes! We’ve seen the impact of air pollution on worsening lung health in children, anything that works to improve that is needed imo- the scrappage scheme must be a good one (and comparable to those in london) to limit impact on finances otherwise it won’t work!
Used a heel prick on my thumb to show medical students about cap gases… still bleeding an hour and a half later and IT HURTS do we think A&E nurses will let me Ametop on patients in future?
