We are happy to share exciting updates on progress made on #Localization of Humanitarian Aid as shared by & Sasakiaharmen hosted session & Onenone Chadburn are as below;
Increased volume of reporting by signatories from 2023
Increase in percentage of signatories with organization policy on ICR at 57% from 42% in 2023 & 33% in 2022
Country level reporting by signatories at 53%
Key observation though is that %of resources going to local & National actors went down.

NGOs can find it difficult to act as facilitators rather than leaders and initiators of programs 4 refugees. This may be rooted in the lack of willingness from NGO workers to confront disruptive feedback, disagreements with policy paradigms or to move beyond the status quo.

He adds that CARE is setting margins for funds going to NNGOs
