Today our thoughts are with the people who came here to seek safety who now live with a new terror.
That is what the Rwanda bill boils down to. Performative, useless terror serving as a cynical distraction from the real problems we face. We will fight it with everything we have.
@AsdaServiceTeam items bought online in August never received. Multiple phone calls and reassurances of refund. 3 months later still waiting. No mechanism to follow up online. Appalling customer service.
Our colleagues get an extra day off when their kids have their first day at school. It’s such an important day for any parent, and one not to be missed! As a result you may see a different face behind the counter as we juggle our teams around to ensure every shop is open.
A great Irish poet and singer left us today.
She was beautiful, courageous and wore her heart on her sleeve. She was before her time.
Nothing will ever compare to Sinéad O’Connor.
Rest easy Sinéad.
#ADHD and #Panorama in the news today, in prep for an expose of private ADHD clinics offering short cuts. There are useful lessons to be drawn here but also a note of concern. The scandal is underfunded NHS, not overdiagnosis of ADHD.

Heading home on Penistone Road after an inspiring #activetravel summit. @julie_grocutt told us 27% increase in cycling on this route. Today it's littered with pavement parked cars, presumably @sheffieldwed fans. @SheffCouncil surely this is unacceptable on a key cycling route?
Good news for cyclists @SheffCouncil to spend £410k on a facility for short-term storage of up to 200 cycles for visitors to the city centre. The unit will be leased to a commercial operator and will also include a bike repair centre, toilets and e-bike charging points.
