Ihab Shalbak’s ‘Human Rights in Palestine: from Self-Determination to Governance” has been awarded the Andrea Durbach prize. It traces the shift from an anti-colonial struggle for popular sovereignty and self-determination to post-Oslo human rights as tool of governance.
