Exciting news! At the @csswg f2f we just resolved to pursue a ::tooltip (name TBD) pseudo-element for styling native UA tooltips!
My proposal was the 5th time in 23 years it was brought up (and the 2nd time I brought it up — first was in 2012!): https://t.co/iA1ApvqSd6
Attended world IA day #wiad23 last month and found out yesterday I won the complete collection of the Rosenfeld media books! 😍 Just wanted to say a massive thank you - these will keep me busy for a while! #ThankYou@RosenfeldMedia

Seeking alternatives to BrowserStack for cross browser / device testing (since they got rid of their freelance plan that I loved). Real devices (not emulators) important. Anyone got any recommendations?
@toddlibby @polypane Thanks Todd, I appreciate you sharing 😊 yes I think this one wouldn’t fit my use case right now but always good to know what others are using
@mituldthakkar@browserstack Oh thank you so much for the heads up, I tried to renew on the freelance live plan previously and was told it had been cancelled so wouldn’t have checked for it again. I appreciate your help 😊
If treating disabled people's needs as an afterthought is ableist, is leaving web accessibility to a WCAG audit at the end of the design and build process, an ableist approach?
Please leave your reasons in the comments.

I only discovered a couple days ago that I can give feedback on GitHub accessibility directly to GitHub — not as an issue, but as a discussion.
I filed an ‘issue’ for the inaccessible contributions chart I have been trying to get addressed for 4¼ years:
