@jongaunt@Morrisons I don’t see why this is an either or type of question. The answer is clearly have both. Your hyperbole doesn’t help the case for /against either. Try being more measured and thinking of the different types of customers and what suits each group.
@JamesMelville Wow -massively missing the point. People are allowed to have different opinions, but no one, EVER, has the right to imtimidate, incite violence, set fire to and damage property.
That is not about the London elite (I am not part of that) It is about civil society. #hopenothate
@Solo_Mo Yes - every game is negotiated for by each channel before the euros even start. Marina Hyde explains it well in a The Rest is Entertainment podcast. The final is always on both channels regardless of who is playing. It makes it better for them a home nation (esp Eng) is playing.
@richardpbacon Agreed it is impossible but this reaction shows a lack of resiliency and no clear leadership style. No one understands or really knows WHY he is in politics and that makes it hard to connect with him. He is finally realising he doesn’t know either.
Not a fan of either party but how is it that Nigel F gets so much air time when Ed Davy has to perform daily stunts to get on the news? Given his latest party has 0 seats anywhere, why we are force fed this man & his awful views daily?!?

🚨 NEW: Key deadlines for the GE on 4 July
⏲️ Register to vote: Tuesday 18 June at 23.59
⏲️ Applying for a Voter ID: Wednesday 26 June at 17:00
⏲️ Applying for a postal vote: Wednesday 19 June at 17.00
⏲️ Applying for a proxy vote: Wednesday 26 June at 17.00
@maitlis And while I am glad it is finally being called, that date is not convenient for many in Scotland who take holidays immediately as the schools stop at the end of June - quick postal and proxy votes will need to be arranged.
It needs to start somewhere, why not with this one resignation? One acknowledgement that this is not acceptable language or behaviour. Making others in society think twice before making a “joke”. Opening the door to conversations about the wider problems faced. #riplesinapond
Call the election. Call the election. CALL THE ELECTION.
There is nothing any party can do in the next few months that will change anyone’s mind on how they will vote. #EnoughIsEnough
Community notes need to be added clarifying this is not a picture of Scotland in freezing rain. 🤣
Plus now we know Scottish grannies going for their messages is what makes them so mentally tough. Explains a lot.
🔹Being physically strong makes you mentally tougher:
Mental and physical toughness are linked.
Training outside in the freezing Scottish rain in February made me stronger and tougher.
Find an event you need to train for and commit to it no matter the conditions.
Shopping for food in Rutherglen and Cambuslang? Why not download the free @BanktheFoodUK app to see what items we are running low on and help those in our local community who are experiencing crisis.
@Haggis_UK This has made me laugh so much. How fragile are conservative mps? First Lee Anderson and now Huw. Also comedy based on news items is not news and does not provide a worthy example of bias.
