UPDATE:

CPD wanted to update the traffic closure on SH 20. ONG is still repairing the ruptured line. As of this update, we are being told that there are still at least two hours of repairs needed, if not more.

The entrance to the turnpike is open and could be an alternate route to get to the west side of Claremore. Traveling east Blue Starr to Lake Road is still the best available route.
Please avoid the area if possible to avoid the traffic congestion.

UPDATE:

CPD wanted to update the traffic closure on State Highway 20 on the east side of Claremore. ONG is on the scene to repair a 5 ½ gas line hit during the construction process. The latest estimate we have for the repair is about 2 ½ hours.

Drivers on SH 20 traveling eastbound will have to go northbound on Seminole Ave to go back east at Blue Starr Dr. Westbound traffic will have to exit at Lake Rd and have to go back west on Blue Starr Dr.
