It's always great to have our parents visit, even better when the βοΈ shines and we can get out and about. Today's offering was a walk from @thelingholmkitchen along the Catbells terrace path and back for lunch.

Sometimes it's nice to make the most of what we have on our doorstep. A lovely wander through Great Wood, down to the lake and back through Castlehead Woods. Some lovely βοΈ with βοΈ capped fells all around.

In search of the βοΈ! Something a little different today. Headed to St Bees for a πΆπΆββοΈ along the coastal path in some lovely warning sunshine to battle against the chilly coastal wind.
The kids had a ball charging around Sale Fell in the π¬οΈ this morning, timed perfectly before this afternoon's π§οΈ!! What a lovely, easily accessible and family friendly Wainwright and another one ticked off for the girls.

@TinaBeckDash, your right, it's such a great walk. It was lovely to see lots of other families out in the hills enjoying themselves. Plus we had the fire to ourselves at the end!

A beautiful day for a fabulous walk. We started at Great Wood carpark, walked over to Ashness Bridge on the elevated path overlooking Derwentwater, up to Surprise View and then onto Lodore Falls. Winter perfection
