No problem with Unai resting players but the performance from those he has bought into the team tonight have been awful.

Most of them have just played there way onto the transfer list because this is one of the worst Villa performances of my lifetime. #AVFC

A win tomorrow makes the gap to the chasing pack 10 points and surely would seal Champions League football next season with only 15 points left to play for.

Both sent out on loan in the last two years, and at that age it’s not for experience, it’s because they aren’t good enough.

Yet both are still very much part of our squad. That’s a massive problem.

Yes Yoro got booked for a foul on Tammy before Utds 2nd goal, but the ref played a clear advantage for us in our favour.

Bailey then gives the ball away by their box which they then break and score, just like he did against Newcastle in the cup when Bizot got sent off 🤦🏻‍♂️

Both him and Asensio on permanents would have been unreal though.

Guessand wasn’t great but he was nowhere near as bad as Bailey has been, a bit more of a physical presence too and also tracked back.

Not sure why the club thought recalling Bailey back was a good idea when he was deemed not good enough at the start of the season #AVFC

All 3 goals avoidable, can’t make mistakes at this level and expect not to be punished !

Time for Unai to drop Watkins and give Tammy a run and tell Bailey he can go and play with the reserves for the rest of the season.
