BREAKING: School has rules. More as we get it.
There is nothing in this school’s rules that aren’t completely common expectations in many successful schools around the world. It’s extraordinary how this can make it into the news, and demonstrates the lack of familiarity/ experience some commentators have with managing behaviour in large institutions. It also makes it much harder for good school leaders to do their jobs when they are flogged in public like this on the instigation of a tiny minority of aggrieved parents.
Well done to this school for working hard to provide an environment that is safe, calm and dignified, where all children can flourish. Where students can learn in peace, and boundaries are in place to prevent disruption, danger and chaos. I wish them every success, and will always stand with them.

Wishing all @ClarionCorvus staff, pupils and communities a relaxing and happy summer break. Please remember that many of our support teams will be working throughout the summer. We couldn’t function without them. 💪

Year 7 have just returned from East Mersea where they have spent the weekend building their teamwork and communication skills in a huge range of activities, such as climbing, biking and zip lining. Well done to all students who took part in Essex Outdoors 2024!
Our students are always happy to lead and support these events. A really inclusive event enjoyed by all. These opportunities are vital for the development our excellent sports leaders!
It was a fantastic event for our school community. The enjoyment our students were having was infectious. Thank you PE team for leading the event supported by our brilliant staff!
An absolute pleasure to attend the official opening of the Watton Junior SRB. A brilliant resource for the young people of #Norfolk. Thanks to @NorfolkCC for their support.
@ClarionCorvus are lucky to have a great premises team and supportive Trustees. Many schools in great need are not so fortunate.
