I think rare mob tagging is a slippery slope. Rares should be exactly that, rare. First to it gets the chance at something unique. Having a bunch of people have the chance at this off of one kill defeats the “rare” naming. It’s cool when you see someone with a mount/pet/gear from a rare that you know they spent a lot of time to get.
@NotFabTV@Omeduz advocating to make a spell specific to one class useless kinda defeats the purpose of classic. Every class should have a uniqueness to them.
it’s like arguing for portals to major cities at the end of each dungeon.
@Sully83256779@FemcelCollector “add summons ability to the meeting stone”, summoning is uniquely a warlock spell. Having an item or object that lets everyone use that spell makes it useless for warlocks.
When else is summoning really needed besides a raid/dungeon.
@Sully83256779@FemcelCollector well if you want a teleport it makes you consider having them as a dps in your group.
classes need to be different and have a uniqueness to them. When every class can do everything, you end up with retail.
@NotFabTV it feels like there is a happy medium. I do like some QoL they have added so far. I think adding things like mob tagging and improved dungeon finder/teleport, slowly degrade the social aspect of the game overtime.
@ManiakSmith Easier to just group for these. Even when it comes to low rate item drop quest, you can still farm mobs together until you both collect them.
It’s about social interaction not speed running to max level.
@DogParkSandbox I agree with some of this but the Skyborn was actually proposed by Metzen himself. I think the Forever team originally wanted High/Blood elves but Metzen directed them towards Skyborn. They talk about it around 9 minutes in this interview.

Every aspiring DJ I talk to is in the studio learning how to mix. Or they are trying to write the perfect song. That is not the job.
The job is selling your brand. That is the bit almost nobody wants to practice.
Look at the headliners.
A lot of them are not there because they are the best DJs in the room. They are not there because they made the best records. They are there because they can sell.
You can be world class on the decks and still play empty rooms if nobody knows who you are. The mix is the easy part. Making people care is the work.
Learn how to sell.

@tinistinii I think it’s pretty solid. Turnstile and Mall Grab have music together and I would consider Kettama in the same space as Mall Grab so this doesn’t seem that random
