@FreddyLA7 Freddy I promise you there’s more to the US than fast food. Lmao Look for some of the local cuisine and try some of the different cultural dishes
@groundhopper_fc Stay in Philly for the 4th. The nation was founded in Philly. There’s also a World Cup match in Philly on the 4th so there’s bound to be a lot of parties and what not. NYC will be chaotic. DC would also be great considering it’s the nation’s capital.
@groundhopper_fc Brother you gotta go to a place like Jim’s or Dalessandro’s for an authentic one. The ones at the terminal can be eh. Sorry to hear the one you got wasn’t up to your liking. You gave it an honest try though.
@FreddyLA7 PA is famously joked about as being two large cities with a lot of nothing in the middle but there’s plenty to see & do throughout. When you get to Philly def check out some of the history. Make sure you try a cheesesteak and water ice. Visit the reading terminal market as well.
ben & jerry (ben cohen & jerry greenfield) tried to boycott their ice cream from being sold in israel, so unilever went behind their back and sold a portion of the company to an israeli licensee against their wishes. israel is selling ben & jerry's through corporate domination
@kiiLkenny@Wawa Tbh both are kind of meh in my book. Sheetz has a good selection of food but I’ve never been overly impressed by it. And with Wawa I can def agree that the quality has gone down. Them attempting to diversify their menu and keep up with Sheetz has def contributed to the quality.
American culture is dominated by NYC, LA, SF, and sometimes DC.
We need more cultural awareness of Houston, Chicago, Miami, Austin, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Dallas.
I will never get tired of these scenes. The French fans are here in Philadelphia ahead of tomorrow night’s match against Iraq in the World Cup🇫🇷

People said there wasn’t enough room for soccer in a 4 for 4 city, that no one would care about the World Cup except a few foreigners. But Philadelphia is the best sports city in the world, and so this doesn’t surprise me one bit
The Philadelphia Union really need to figure out a way to make the most of this moment the city is having around the sport of soccer
@skyisyapping I remember when Burger King did that Halloween burger that had a black bun and everyone was complaining that everything was coming out green when they went to the bathroom.
@CeraGibson Everytime this topic comes up I’m always baffled by the responses. We’re not being fake. We don’t walk around with a smile plastered on our face 24/7 but we’re also not going to act rude to a stranger just bc we have no connection to them. There’s no ulterior motive behind it.
@PhillyFanLife I totally forgot that the Eagles have a large fanbase down in Brazil. So it’s even better now that we have the Brazilians here in Philly to celebrate the World Cup with us.
