ER vs The Pitt: The Pitt loses in this comparison because the lack of personal stories of the characters. Maybe we just need more seasons but rewatching ER it is clear much of the character development happens off hours, which the real-time approach of The Pitt doesn't allow for.
ER S13 - Forest Whitaker's performance this entire season is outstanding. John Stamos as well. In between all the usual hookups there was some great storytelling in this season.
