Music-mad @Clas5gu7 in Mallaig Primary School play, sing and love the @stereophonics material taught to them by the West-Highland guitar uber-guru #JimHunter. How amazing would it be if they got some plectrums from their heroes!? @JMcDonell1#Stereophonics https://t.co/zFeBoo48Rp

Both of our schools will delay in opening today until 10.30am - we will reassess the roads as the morning progresses. Hopefully this will allow sufficient time for the snow to melt and the roads to clear.

Hi @HPEarnshaw. Our class in Mallaig is doing space as a topic. We are currently doing a STEM activity to help us understand how difficult it is to land on the surface of Mars (we are dropping eggs!). #mallaigtweets

@realscientists Thank you very much! Our teacher is boring and thinks it might be a bit dangerous, but we will try and persuade him. Can you help us persuade him? We are in a Scottish school with pupils aged 9 to 11. #mallaigtweets
