In our final RE topic about Stewardship, Class 12 used their retrieval of Genesis 1:1-31 to create our class Tree of Stewardship- how can each of us care and look after God’s creation. @stmarysderby
Class 12 produced their own beautiful stained-glass windows. These were based on our Mission Day theme of the Corporal Acts of Mercy and they used their Art prior knowledge to select an appropriate medium to create a more realistic effect - I love them! ❤️ @stmarysderby

Class 12 are really enjoying our Topic about World War II. It has given us an opportunity this week for some great History retrieval on key events and dates. We created our own timelines, adding our prior knowledge before plotting in when WWII took place. @stmarysderby

Class 12 have been retrieving our French knowledge, using all our previous knowledge organisers e.g. we recapped that nouns can be either masculine or feminine as well as plural! French phonics is helping us with pronunciation too; 'ch' has a 'sh' sound e.g. le chat.@stmarysderby
We had a really enjoyable music lesson this week in Class 12 using our singing voices. We worked together as a whole class to remember everything that helps us sing well - look at how much we remembered! @stmarysderby
