Last week was DT week in school and year 5’s topic was ‘Great British Dishes’. We made Cottage Pie and Eaton Mess.

During our music week, the have learned ‘Let me feel your love’ by Adele. They sang it beautifully! The children also practised copying small pieces with up to 5 notes on the glockenspiel, they then composed their own pieces to go with the backing track.

Year 5 are really enjoying our Art topic. We are researching, designing and making carnival masks, to link with our South America topic. The children enjoyed creating ideas pages in their sketchbooks ready to make them on Thursday.

Year 5 enjoyed taking part in NatWest Money Sense Worshops last week. We were investigating evidence of identity fraud.
