We are Kangaroo Class from @SidleshamSchool. Follow us to see what we are up to, help answer some of our questions and see some of the work we are proud of.
Huge thanks to Berries on Tap for welcoming us and giving us a tour of the greenhouses so we could learn how raspberries and strawberries grow. We had a fantastic time and even got to eat some delicious fruit!
Inspired by @DarrellWakelam and his gorgeous egg box insect sculptures, we made these beauties today. We practised cutting mindfully so every piece had a purpose. We are very proud of our sculptures. #SidleshamArt
In our #StoryTimeAssembly this morning Mrs Connor shared ‘Only One You’ by Linda Kranz. “Look for beauty wherever you are, and keep the memory of it with you.” #OnlyOneYou.
We had a lot of fun and some heartwarming conversations about our most special things, which we then drew upside down for our #UpsideDownTask. Can you see who our most special things are?
Investigate your own questions about chemical reactions! What does happen when you change the temperature of vinegar or when you use old/ new bicarbonate? Kangaroos found out the answers through careful observations and testing. #SidleshamScience
Kangaroos are very excited about their new reading books, kindly donated by @SidleshamPTA . They're being whisked off the shelves very quickly! #SidleshamReadingForPleasure
