Dr. Doreen Tachie-Donkor has amazed many by successfully treating a young boy’s Strabismus (commonly known as Alukumi)—a condition many believed was untreatable. Her incredible work has not only brought hope to many but has also skyrocketed her reputation within the health fraternity, earning the trust and admiration of Ghanaians nationwide.
Dr. Doreen is a 6th-year Doctor of Optometry student at KNUST, and formerly served as the Head of the Health Office under the 63rd SRC administration.
Her dedication, skill, and passion for eye care continue to inspire many.

I bring you a case of crime, pain, scandal and historic disgrace of the Kyebi palace in the murder case in the ‘Okyehene’s’ palace (as it is now known) and Dr JB Danquah and Edward Akuffo Addo’s spirited but failed attempt to defend and protect the identities and crime of their murderous kinsmen and in the lead up to the formation of the UGCC to seek political revenge in a criminal matter.
The year was 28th February 1944.
