Last Wednesday, students engaged in College & Career Day! They attended college and career workshops, heard about opportunities in welding and entrepreneurship, and attended a booth fair! Thanks to all that attended and showed your support for Classic City High School!
Classic City High School celebrated the Class of 2023 at our first Senior Dinner! Students, staff, and community members joined together at the Classic Center last Wednesday. We send special thanks to guest speaker and sponsor Dr. Crosslin. We are so proud of our grads!
TOMORROW is Classic City's College & Career Day! Parents, please arrive by 1:40 pm for "Parent University," in which you will learn how best to prepare your student for life after high school. This will be relevant to all ages of high school! We look forward to seeing you there!

The "Help a Child Smile" Dental Van will be coming to Classic City High School and CCSD Learning Center on May 8 - 12! Students will be sent home today with permission slip forms, which must be signed by a parent and returned by Friday, April 28.

CCSD Students: Turn in your report cards to get a free pool pass! All A's earn a pass for the entire summer, and all B's earns 10 pool visits at participating locations.
Join CCSD panelists in "Community Conversation: Safety in our Schools and Community" tomorrow from 6:00-7:30pm at H.B. Stroud Elementary School! Community members are welcome to attend, listen to the panelists, and share thoughts and questions about safety.
Today, Classic City students visited the Career Fair at the Classic Center in Athens! Students met with college and career representatives and learned about the opportunities available to them after high school!
A big thank-you to the Iota Gamma Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. for hosting the Youth Symposium at Classic City! Students learned about mental health awareness, financial fitness, and community service. Iota Gamma Sigma also provided free lunches from CFA!
Iota Gamma Sigma will be visiting CCHS tomorrow from 12:30-3:15pm! These sorority members will hold a special youth symposium, teaching students about mental health awareness, financial fitness, and community service. Plus: a free lunch for students!
The next LSGT meeting is TOMORROW! Mark your calendars for March 22 at 3:20pm. Parents, students, and community members are welcome to attend. Please arrive at the front office approximately five minutes before the meeting begins. We hope to see you there!
Tutoring is now available through UGA's Equal Education for Athens (EEA)! They provide 1 on 1 virtual tutoring completely free of charge. Students can attend tutoring from their CCSD laptop, either at home or at Classic City High School.
