Markie Post, who played the public defender in the 1980s sitcom “Night Court,” has died at age 70. Post, a longtime TV regular who also appeared in shows from “Cheers” to “Scrubs,” died Saturday after a years-long battle with cancer, her manager said. https://t.co/ROhpbrDbaO
I am devastated to hear of the passing of my friend Markie Post. She was a true talent. We did Hearts Afire together and to work with her and John was a gift. F&@k Cancer! #MarkiePost
#RIPBillMacy Walter Findlay has always been 1 of my personal fav sitcom characters, the perfect foil to Bea Arthur’s #Maude & Conrad Bain’s Arthur. I’d like to think they’re all reunited now, making heaven laugh & having some of Mrs. Naugatuck’s Christmas cookies! #TheLostWeekend
It hasn't hit the news yet, but personal friends of actor Bill Macy are reporting he died this evening at age 97. You most likely remember him as Walter Findlay, long suffering husband on 137 episodes of Maude. RIP, Bill Macy.
Living in Canada, it's always great to find local Three's Company artifacts to add to my collection. Here is an original 1977 press photo used in the Toronto Sun newspaper along with a corresponding CBC-TV press release to boot!

JUST IN: Valerie Harper, the Emmy-winning actress who became famous for playing shoot-from-the-hip, loud-mouthed New Yorker Rhoda Morgenstern on the '70s hit "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," has died, her daughter confirmed to @ABC. She was 80 years old. https://t.co/5LNP9P1LMl
A beautiful woman, a wonderful actress, a great friend and with balls bigger than mine. Her brilliance burst through and shined its light upon all of us. Goodnight beautiful. I’ll see you soon.
Really enjoying watching #Alice on the Logo Channel lately! Who remembers this number with special guest star #JoelGrey? (I’m a sucker for a musical number!)
Bonus Point if you can remember the name of Mel’s play! #ClassicTV#NewYorkNewYork
