🏛 A warning from a time long gone yet still very much alive - do not let your emotions carry you too far away after yesterday’s historic One Nation win in WA.

Hubris also applies to supporters, of which any Australian worth their civic soul is one - because it is in all of our interests to retrieve our country.

But make no mistake, the fight has just begun.

Labor and Liberal will now double down with their attacks on anyone who stands for or supports ON.

There will be no mea culpa from Angus Taylor or Matt Canavan because they cling to the party machinery as if their lives depend upon it.

Labor will do what Labor does best - smear and ridicule.

The LNP will do what they do best - prevaricate and waffle.

Don’t rest on any laurels, but don’t let your minds swell from the ecstasy of the small wins.

Hubris has destroyed many an empire - and it is always waiting in the wings for its next victim.

You were right about what it takes to govern a state:
