*Glucagon My Savior*
As a child, I once went about 70 hours without eating because I was corrected by my parents 🥲.
That's silly right
Just some childish behaviour 😁
I was weak, dizzy, and felt like my body was running on 1% battery.
_I was telling myself - Fathia Manage 😂😭_
What I didn't know then was that my body had activated its survival mode. With no food coming in, glucagon stepped up, telling my liver to release stored glucose and later helping my body use fat for energy. While I was struggling, Physiology was working behind the scenes.
Today, studying physiology has helped me understand what was happening behind the scenes.
It taught me that *insulin* and *glucagon* are not just hormones we study for exams they are key players in keeping us alive.
Physiology is amazing because it explains how the body quietly fights for us every day.

I've not been very actively posting on this app lately, but a discussion from yesterday's endocrinology and reproductive physiology classes gave me something worth reflecting on.
The topic explored the physiological basis of certain masculine and feminine traits, and it sparked a number of questions and personal thoughts that I believe are worth discussing.
I'm currently putting together a short article where I'll share my understanding of the science, my opinions, and some personal reflections.
Looking forward to sharing it soon.
