I just realized the reason the beat for Busta Rhymes’ “Turn It Up/Fire It Up (remix)” is so incredibly 🔥 is because the drums are swung AF and the “Knightrider” sample is straight. Gonna try to rip off that approach tomorrow.

@VitoAeroplane similar feeling I got when @NI_News came out w .NKS and I first used Komplete Kontrol w their controller keyboard and could preview any sound based on category/inst/style, etc., regardless of the manufacturer, and then it just perfectly maps all params of whatever sound u land on
