Bermondsey Tales is a modern-day gritty comedy following The Roman/Scuderi crime family based on real people and true events.

Mick Roman (Ray Burdis) is riddled with cancer and on his way out leaving behind no obvious heir to his thrown. As often happened with their namesakes, The Roman Empire infighting follows as the old school guard lead by Skats (Alan Ford) and Edgar Wallace (Vas Blackwood), try and keep the firm together with the shadows of George Scuderi (Frank Harper) and Ishaaq (Adam Deacon), looming large.

Between a tear up over a wig, tripping on salvia, a paranoid ex-associate The Postman (John Hannah), and the tearaway Chloe (Maisie Smith), the firm could really do without all the b@llocks but as with any family things don't always run smoothly.

Bermondsey Tales is the follow up film from Michael Head (The Last Heist) and will be co-directed by BAFTA winning director Ray Burdis.
