@kvstik1111 It kinda is, reminds me of Quantum Break series tbh. I don't mind though because at least we get to see how people not in the sky experience war in Strangereal
@YamchaMan357@I__HATE_SOCCER@Hicks_tape_ I played, it's ugly shit that ruins not only the artistic vision but some bosses and enemy encounters because of the new controls scheme, and if you say that I just need to play on Legacy mode then why do I need Delta in the first place when I can play the original?
@TenbeiHazard Link's Awakening remake does a similar thing with everything looking like little toys and it looks beautiful. OoT remake looks messy and inconsistent
@puppycelebrity REmakes are not faithful by any means but you'll never be able to recapture the original vision anyway, so you can at least try to build something new using the original game as inspiration rather than doing Ctrl+C Ctrl+V on everything and slapping shitty graphics on top
@puppycelebrity I believe that remakes shouldn't exist in the first place but if someone does make one please take it seriously and try to reimagine things like the REmakes do. Then we can at least call it a new game and not some cheap cash-grab that tampers with artistic vision for no purpose
@slitherwinglove Pretty sure someone does, but if you talk like that to anyone even remotely calling themselves a cinephile, they'll most likely obliterate your ass on the spot. I don't understand why we shouldn't do the same if we consider video games an art form.
HUGE 1000xRESIST SPOILERS
I don't know if anyone ever noticed this but I was playing through the prologue to record some footages for a video I'm making. I saw an unusual red reflection and just randomly decided to look around and, well...
I love sunset visitor so much
Setting up Cinematic Unity Explorer made me wish for something like Collage Mode from Disco Elysium in 1000xResist, where you could select scenes and place characters. This game looks phenomenal, and it totally deserves to have a photo mode.
Not gonna lie, Ace Combat Zero as a pre-order bonus-only sounds scammy but if that's the only way to bring these games on modern platforms - so be it. You don't even have to buy AC8 deluxe edition, base game is enough
I just wish someday we'll see actual PS2 games re-releases
The thing I appreciate the most about 007 First Light is it's mix of beat em up combat with shooting. You can shoot enemy in the leg, bump into him, catch his weapon mid-air and throw it into another enemy and it all just feels so fluid. It makes me want to play whole game again
@punishedotaku@morphys_tears I think it's that long because devs wanted to let players really get the feel of every mechanic in a safe environment before presenting an "actual gameplay". Otherwise you'd be constantly confused playing Slovakia level which is ultimately worse than playing a 2-hour prologue
007 First Light so far is the most promising similar-to-Uncharted action adventure game I've ever played. The pacing is unmatched, the combat is really fun and, while mostly linear, the game sometimes presents a satisfying freedom of choice other similar games just can't offer
