The brightest star in the league is a 7-foot-4 Avenger who does postgame press conferences like a philosopher, professes his love for the game whenever he can, goes all out for his teammates and talks recklessly to opponents like 97 Rodman. I mean, this is incredible.
Hey, for Black History month, I can highly recommend a book by Rev. @ClaudeAtcho on Reading Black Books, a CT Book Award Finalist! https://t.co/kaVzgHP4uE
I tried to select books from a range of genres and theological spectrum from more theologically conservative works to more contextual approaches). This is only a “taster” of East Asian Christianity; but, I hope it will encourage people to explore more!

I love @ClaudeAtcho ‘s new book—Rhythms of Faith. Every family should have this book on their dining room table to weekly center them in Christ’s time. Start at Advent, the Christian new year!
Delighted at the news that Dr Jamie Davies has been appointed as the next Kirby Laing Professor of New Testament Exegesis here in the Divinity Department at the University of Aberdeen.
Great to have @mbird12 with us in Charlottesville earlier this month. He preached a great message for us on Colossians 2 in addition to multiple lectures at UVA.
The Divinity department @aberdeenuni has PhD scholarships available to support women research students working in any of the theological disciplines. Details are here: https://t.co/h1vtpCLPAX. Please do circulate to any you know for whom it might be a good and welcome prospect.
A beautiful cliff in Japan where numerous people jump to end their lives. Pastor Fujiyabu has saved over 1100 people from the cliff, and continues to share the Gospel, while mentoring those he rescued. I had an honor to visit and write an article for CT.
