@baekdal I’d guess that’s not on purpose. The same happens when their Consent Management Plattform has an outage (or is blocked by browser plugins, pihole or similar). So maybe you ran into a timeframe where their CMP had issues?
@Pomme2Poule @mgsiegler Yes, it would be technically easy to have simple privacy controls in the browser. But diametral to the business interests of Google who happens to own Chrome and finances Firefox. The upcoming EU eprivacy regulation might solve this conflict in favor of the users.

@ghensel Auch wenn die AfD natürlich auf keine der drängenden Fragen unserer Gesellschaft die Antwort ist: Leider strategisch brilliant „Normalität“ zu versprechen, angesichts einer Welt deren zunehmende Beschleunigung immer größere Teile der Bevölkerung überfordert und abhängt.
@kristinabonitz Try syncing Outlook to iCal. It gives you the opposite effect: Cancelled meetings are still being blocked in the calendar but change their description to “free” 😅
