I intended to turn them into comics/doujins, but the more time goes by, the less time I have to dedicate to personal work. But I at least want people to be able to know more about the characters I created for so long. I have material accumulated for over a decade.
If I were to post erotic stories with my characters and settings, in writing... Where would you guys rather read it? Any platform preference? Would it be interesting to invest on self-publishing on amazon? Is there a platform for these out there besides amazon?
I ask because I wrote many stories and compiled them into a timeline of events for my settings. They need further development, but the events are all laid down, planned and written. Just need better formatting and tweaks for pacing.
It's nothing epic, but are nice adventures.
@Vostroya1 Thanks for the feedback. Already have an account there, but never cared to post my proper written work there. Just this one sketch of a story to give context to an old illustration I did based on a dream I had. It ended up being one of the foundations to my BDSM setting.
@Torturebytaco I appreciate the effort.
Just been wishing I had done more in the last 5 years. Fear people just think I'm dead, that they don't care anymore or moved on.
Struggling to sleep... Bad feelings. Questioning if people even care if I post anything anywhere. The last 5 years got me feeling lots of insecurities. I should focus on potential positive things, but I can never shake the feeling of having a sword hanging on top of my head 24/7.
At least I had a chance to watch a movie and play some No Man's Sky, Brandish, Zero Divide 2 and Demon's Crest on my retro portables. Those were easy on my wrist, but now I feel sad and unproductive. I wanna get things done again. Chronic Anxiety is a bitch.
Wrist is improving. Had taken a bit of a forced break from drawing after a full week of wrist pains.
It's still clicking when I move it a certain way and that's scary. But at least the sharp pain is mostly gone.
Cheated a few days by doodling on the phone and working on the pc.
*Note of pride. I converted 90% of my PS1 library, myself, back in the mid 2000's because of the PSP. I convert PSX games to PSP (compresses image files compatible with PSP and emu) to this day cuz I like making pretty xmb browsing. I still do it cuz it reminds me of college. :3
Been working hard drawing and working to restore my stuff on the new PC. Took too long for me to find certain design programs I own cuz I refuse to pay subscription for a work tool (You know what I'm talking about).
That and working out screwed my wrists.
Gotta take a break.
Didn't help that a 256gb microsd on a retro portable I own got corrupted and I had to spend hours trying to fix it, rescue saves and restoring the data on it too.
Restoring most systems is real quick, but DAYUM it takes forever to go through my PS1 library*.
Got a new PC set up. It's almost work ready. I'll be able to stream again soon. I wasn't able to do so for years because the old pc was too unstable. It would randomly crash/reboot itself at least 3 times a day and that was too unreliable to stream in.
Things are getting better.
Started doing highlights and revisions on all sketches of the sheet. I was fine with them beng flat-colored, but I crosser a Rubicon and I don't regret it. Doesn't take long to do and I can do it on breaks.
