Several years ago,there was a four car pileup on the 14th St bridge crossing into D.C. A large truck had a lady trapped in the front seat, smoke and fire inside. People got out their cars and pulled her out. No cameras. The woman is ok. She's my wife.

So True Shomari, So True. Tis the Season to reach out and speak to that co-worker, that Mail carrier (to include the hustling Amazon/ FedEx / UPS folks) I myself was hit hard with a moment of sadness - brought on by looking at photos of friends and family who are no longer here.

My heart is so heavy as I write this. My mother in law, Tanya Bailey, passed away on Saturday at 66 years old. She was a wonderful person who trusted me to take care of her most precious gift — her son, Ian. We had a great relationship and I will miss her dearly. As my mother said, Tanya isn’t gone. She just went to her heavenly address. 💔
