The 6-foot-2, 214-pound R/R two-way prospect put together a dominant all-around performance, starring on the mound while also driving in the game’s lone run at the plate. Echelberry tossed a complete-game one-hitter, allowing just one walk while striking out eight. He filled the zone all night, landing 61 of 89 pitches for strikes. The sophomore’s fastball explodes out of the hand with premium life, pairing well with a tight-spinning slider, a curveball with depth, and a changeup that showed quality arm-side run. Athletic mover on the mound with the ability to manipulate arm slots effectively. Already the No. 22-ranked prospect in the country’s 2028 class, Echelberry continues to prove why he’s one of the premier young arms to follow this spring and summer.
