I’ve spent the past six years teaching in Clay County — across elementary, high school, and junior high — and I’ve seen firsthand the realities our educators and administrators face every day.
Teaching today goes far beyond lessons and grading. From IEPs and 504 Plans to MTSS, ESL, and Gifted programs, educators are balancing complex responsibilities while also addressing rising student disengagement and disruptive behavior that impacts the entire classroom.
These challenges make one thing clear: strong, informed school board leadership matters.
We need leadership with knowledge, courage, and independence to stand up for what is right for our students — not just accept the status quo. Michele has proven to be that person.

The Republican Men's Club of Clay County holds its meetings on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Santioni's Italian Restaurant in Fleming Island. Dinner is available during the meeting. Yearly dues are $25 for members and $5 for associate members.
Filed Republican candidates are invited to speak to our members with each person getting 3 minutes to introduce themselves to our membership. Social time is 6-7pm with the meeting being held from 7-9pm.
