#EducationalDesignersUnited 036, “Clea recommends Clark Quinn’s book - #LearningScience for #InstructionalDesigners”
Guest: @CleaMahoney
In this clip, Clea talks about a book she loves, and how she applies the principles into her day to day. We recommend this book to anyone interested in how the #LearningSciences can be applied to #CourseDesign

I keep hearing about others having very similar experiences being "managed out" of Automattic. https://t.co/mVZDifihpm
Two things:
1. It should never be a surprise.
2. If you're going to give a reason, you need to back it up.
Pls vote for Schrecky. He’s a good old pup and there’s unlimited voting so you can literally just keep closing hearts while watching tv. Just sayin’.

@karenraycosta Depends on who else is in the room. I often find myself defaulting to “group leader” to get the activity done, or if I’m in a mood…I’ll just sit there and stubbornly wait out the silence 😆
As someone with very bad ADHD symptoms it’s hard to sympathise with the moral panic around stimulants.
I know they’re super addictive to those without ADHD, but to me they’re the equivalent of caffeine Tik Tacs that only sometimes work on the days my hormones are balanced
@psychkes (2/4) When this job description was originally developed, we had failed to consult those with lived experience, and we recognise that that was a mistake. We are genuinely grateful for the feedback that was received, as it allowed us to rectify our approach.
@liznorell @katevideo @kawaiilovesarah @karenraycosta @AnnGagne As a serial book club dropout but also the President of the @karenraycosta , @katevideo , and @AnnGagne Fan Clubs (yes we can have co-presidents, don’t @ me) I will give it an honest try!
I’d like to know, in this age of Twitter, whether you put the toilet paper roll on like a logical, kind, reasonable person or whether you are a psychopath who reaches “under” to pull the roll vs. the only properly correct way (pull from the top)
