@British_Airways sent another email — still no fix, still blaming “systems issues.” Now they’re asking me to DM my phone number on X, even though I’ve already provided full info through two case numbers and the Gold Guest Line, daily.

I went to Qatar in February of 2020 on a photography work trip for a hotel that was launching there.
It was the first time in my life I had seen slavery.
Qatar was building new infrastructure for the World Cup and brought in thousands of slaves from other counties to do the work.
It was truly horrifying.
Something like 6,000 of them died just building the roads and stadiums.
So… when I saw all those conservative influencers posting about Qatar and how beautiful and amazing it was…
That set me off.
Qatar used actual modern day, real life SLAVES in like FIVE YEARS AGO to build those skyscrapers you’re standing in front of, you dumbasses.

Since July 18, I couldn’t transfer my own Avios due to a “tech issue.”
Now suddenly — nearly 1 million Avios were transferred to a random Iberia account I’ve never heard of.
I reported it. BA says “investigation in 7–10 days.”
This is insane.

Update: My Avios were transferred to an unknown Iberia account without my permission — that’s nearly 1 million points gone, and I have an active case.
I’m doing my part. Please escalate this.

If this isn’t resolved within 24 hours, I’m filing a complaint with CEDR — the official dispute body for @British_Airways.
I did everything right.
They failed me.
Loyalty shouldn’t feel like entrapment.

BA finally admitted it’s a known system/security issue on their end.
But they’ve given me:
❌ No fix
❌ No timeline
❌ No workaround
What’s worse?
I can transfer Avios from Qatar to BA with no issue.
But I can’t move a single point out of BA — not to Qatar, not anywhere.
This confirms it’s a British Airways system failure, not a Qatar issue.
And my 1M points are still locked.
